Wendy Saddington is a pioneering Australian Soul/Blues/Rock 'n' Roll singer with a career spanning 40 years in music. Since 1968, Wendy has worked with various bands and musicians either live on stage and in the studio, including: The Revolution, James Taylor Move, Chain, Elliot Gordon Union, Jeff St. John & Copperwine, Billy Thorpe, The Aztecs, Jeff Crozier, Tully, Blues Assembly, Jeff Duff, Shango, Teardrop, The Wendy Saddington Band (Mk.I & Mk.II), and Aniseed. On stage, she has also performed or supported gigs/festivals with such diverse musicians/bands, including: Frank Zappa, Keith Moon, Black Sabbath, Cat Stevens, Stevie Wright, Jim Keays, Doug Parkinson, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Ross Wilson, Kevin Borich, Tully, Tamam Shud, Mike Rudd, Fanny Adams, Swanee, Joe Galea Henry Manetta, Mick Hadley and the Atomic Boogie Band, Chris Wilson, Jim Finn, Phil Manning, Harry Brus, Max Merritt and the Meteors, Glenn Cardier, Warren Morgan, Margret RoadKnight, Spectrum, Coloured Balls, Jimmy Barnes, Blackfeather, Madder Lake and Rose Tattoo, to name but a few. Wendy has also been an inspiration to such noted Australian singers such as Renee Geyer, Chrissy Amphlett, and Doug Parkinson, among many others. As of 2008, Wendy is known to still play the occasional gig here and there in and around Melbourne, though prefers to dedicate her time to the Hare Krishna's, where she is known as Gandharvika. This site is dedicated to the underrated and overlooked music of Wendy Saddington.
